Density of Liquid and gas

Density of Liquid
          Basically weight by volume is called as density of liquid. Unit of liquid is kg/m3.

Density = Weight of Liquid/Volume of Liquid

Density of gas

ρ = PM/RT
Where,
P - Pressure
M - Molecular Weight
R - Gas constant
T - Temperature

     Density of gas is different from the density of liquid. Because density of gas varies with respect to molecular weight. It is directly proportional to pressure. If the pressure increases the the gap between the molecule is decreasing then gas become dense. This is the main difference between density of gas and liquid.
